Writing Poetry in Company: A series of four workshops @ The Stables Theatre, Hastings
In this series, we meet weekly during October to read one or two poems closely that follow a similar theme and use them as a starting point for our own writing. Each session explores an aspect of poetic technique, from structure and image to line and editing, with guided exercises designed to generate new drafts and strengthen existing work.
Along the way, we will be building a practical toolkit of approaches to return to in our own writing.
Open to writers at all levels, this is a focussed and supportive space to develop your skills and write in the company of others.
Autumn poetry workshops commencing Thursday 8 October 2026 are held at The Stables Theatre & Arts Centre, Hastings.
