Writing Poetry in Company: A series of four workshops @ Torwood Studio, Little Common
In this small series, we met weekly during May to read one or two poems closely that followed a similar theme and used them as a starting point for our own writing. Each session explored an aspect of poetic technique, from structure and image to line and editing, with guided exercises designed to generate new drafts and strengthen existing work.
Along the way, participants built a practical toolkit of approaches they can return to in their own writing.
Open to writers at all levels, this is a focussed and supportive space to develop your skills and make new poems in the company of others.

Autumn poetry workshops commencing October 2026 will be held at The Stables Theatre & Arts Centre, Hastings.
